You are too old?
Now if you said,
“It’s too hard!
I don’t want to try!” or “I’ve given up!”
– I would understand those answers. I have been there and done that. There are times when that is the most honest answer we can give. I would be sad for you and try to encourage you!
But no matter what your age, as long as you have breath, God wants to have an intimate relationship with you, and He wants for you to continue to build an intimate relationship with our husbands.
One of our speakers, Linda Dillow, is 70. She will tell you that intimacy is still worth fighting for. In fact, it is part of what continues to give LIFE!
If you have one day or one year or 100 years left to live, you have time to BE KNOWN and LOVED & to KNOW and LOVE God- intimately- infinitely better than you have known Him all your life.
If you have lost yor never had a husband, chances are there are still others in your life that long for and need you to speak authentic intimacy into their lives. Don’t give up your platform to speak wisdom into the lives of people you know & love. You’re not dead yet!
Yes, you’ve lived a long life!
Yes, you’ve done lot’s of hard things!
Yes, you are probably tired!
But don’t give up now! Don’t let go of your ability to learn and grow! You will be amazed at the vitality it still gives you to learn one new thing.

So this is my prayer: that your love will flourish and that you will not only love much but well. Learn to love appropriately. You need to use your head and test your feelings so that your love is sincere and intelligent, not sentimental gush. Live a lover’s life, circumspect and exemplary, a life Jesus will be proud of:
bountiful in fruits from the soul,
making Jesus Christ attractive to all,
getting everyone involved in the glory and praise of God.
